Who Are Razakar?
Razakar are the people of this country. They are known as a paramilitary force who worked on the Pakistani payroll during the liberation war of Bangladesh. They were obedient to the Pakistani occupation forces and helped them to kill millions of Bangladeshi people, freedom fighters, looted their houses and set them on fire.
While most of the people of this country were fighting for independence, these scoundrels were collaborating with the Pakistani Army to invade everywhere of this country. Even they are responsible for the torture and other heinous jobs during the liberation war.
List of Razakar in Bangladesh 1971
Govt has recently published a list of 10,789 Razakars who were actively helping the Pakistani occupation forces in the genocide. The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has published the list on 15 December just before the 49th Victory Day of Bangladesh.
Govt says that this list will grow as they will finalize the list. Other anti-liberation forces like Al-Badr, Al-Shams list will also be published and the govt is working on this.
The ministry had sent letters to the DC’s to collect the names of these Razakar, Al-Badr, Al-Shams.
According to this list, there are most Razakars in Meherpur district. Some Districts like Khagrachhari, Magura, Sherpur, Gaibandha, and Jashore has no Razakar.
