Kamala Das Biography – Kamala Suraiyya (Kamala Das born on 31 March 1934 to 31 May 2009), also known as her one-time pen name Madhavikutty, was a prominent Indian English poet and literature and at the same time a prominent Malayalam in Kerala, India Was a writer. Kamala Das was born on 31 March 1934 in Punnayurkulam in Thrissur district, Kerala, v. M. Nair, who was a widely circulated Malayalam daily motherland, and Nalappa Balamani Amma, former managing editor of a famous Malayali poetess. She spent his childhood in Calcutta, where his father worked as a senior officer at the Walford Transport Company, which sold Bentley and Rolls Royce automobiles and a Nalappatt ancestral home in Punnayakulam. Like her mother, Kamala Das also surpassed in writing. Her love of poetry began at an early age under the influence of her great-uncle Nalappatta Narayan Menon, who was a prominent writer.
